Alec Christov

Electrical Design Engineer

Welcome to a snapshot of the projects shaping my engineering practice — from hands-on power electronics and renewable energy experiments to confidential product development. Explore the projects below, or visit the Academic Coursework page for an in-depth showcase of university labs, simulations, and design work.

About Me

I am a graduate electrical engineer graduating in 2026 from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) (Honours) combined with a Bachelor of Business (Management).

I have hands-on experience in end-to-end electrical design and product development, with an inquisitive and tenacious approach to solving problems. I thrive in team environments and take every opportunity to learn from great mentors and professionals who can guide me and help me develop.

Since March 2021, I've been working as an Electrical Design Engineer at Unison Technology/Safety Lighting Research, where I've contributed extensively to the design and development process for a confidential consumer electronics project, progressing from mentorship into a lead role across electrical design, prototype testing, and product development.
